The War Years

At the outbreak of The Second World War the Masonic Hall was let to the Kent Education Committee to serve as a school for refugees from Woolwich. The hall kitchen was also used by the Women’s Institute for the purpose of making jam. Dispensation was granted for members to meet at 36 High Street, Sevenoaks, the premises of Knole Lodge No1414.
